Custom curriculum & hands-on learning
Rooted Gathering is a weekly drop-off program for TK through 12th grade students, with families always welcome to attend. Each gathering is built around custom, literature-based curriculum that draws from the richness of Charlotte Mason, Montessori, Waldorf, classical education, nature study, and hands-on learning. Students read living books, discuss meaningful ideas, observe the natural world, create, build, cook, garden, practice useful skills, and connect what they are learning to real life.
What is included
Wednesdays from 10-3
Rooted Gathering includes the weekly Wednesday program, beautiful custom curriculum, all supplies needed for the day, hands-on projects and activities, and monthly parent workshops. Families do not need to piece together materials or plan the learning experience; each gathering is thoughtfully prepared from the ground up.
Our approach
No cookie-cutter learners
Rooted Gathering is designed with the whole student in mind. We use our favorite parts of several educational philosophies to create learning that is rich, flexible, and suitable for many learning styles. The goal is not to force every child into the same mold, but to give students meaningful encounters with books, ideas, skills, nature, and community.
Tuition
$225 per four-week session
Rooted Gathering is $225 per four-week session. This includes the weekly Wednesday gathering, custom curriculum, all supplies needed for the day, hands-on activities, and monthly parent workshops.
Family involvement
Drop-off, with families welcome
Rooted Gathering is a drop-off program, but families are always welcome to attend. Monthly parent workshops will offer encouragement, practical tools, and shared language for families who want to carry the Rooted approach into their homes.
